The process and materials:

Each print in this series has been hand-carved gouge by gouge onto the linoleum block, carefully attending to every incision to give texture to the trunk and branches. It is printed on Fabriano white 220g paper, a top-quality medium with the ideal body and texture for the black oil-based ink to rest with strength and depth. Being a 100% manual process, each copy holds subtle differences that make it unique and unrepeatable.
